Beekeeping Taster Day 2024

At Brooksby Training Apiary, Rearsby
We are holding a beekeeping taster day, in which you will receive an introduction to bees and beekeeping, see and discuss the equipment required to start keeping bees and how to site an apiary. During your time on site, we will lend participants bee suits and gloves, so you can take part in a hive inspection and observe at first-hand the workings of a colony, getting ‘up close and personal’ with the bees.
If there are spaces available there will be a sign up box on the website and you will be taken automatically to PayPal for payment. If you would like to be added to our waiting list or if you have any other problems with registration then please email training@lrbka.org
