The Leicestershire and Rutland Bee Keepers Association is a charity working hard to fulfil its aim to preserve the honeybee, by promoting the craft of beekeeping and educating the public of the benefit of bees to the environment.
We are planning to build a dedicated new training facility at our Walton site to train up the next generation of bee keepers. Each year many people take their first bee-keeping steps with the LRBKA after completing our “Beginners” courses.
We also regularly take our “Bee Tent” and observation hives to shows and events throughout the summer so that we can bring the magic of bees to the wider public.
