There are many books written about beekeeping and many of them are available quite
inexpensively on the second hand market, but beginners should be wary of some of the older
ones as they contain either outdated, incomplete or even incorrect information. It is best
to stick to the modern texts until sufficient knowledge has been obtained so the novice can
sort the 'wheat from the chaff'.
